To quote James ‘D’ Train Williams, “What would you do without your music, what would you do without a song” This show will focus on my/our love affair with the song, the dj, and the reciprocated expression of the dance. For many of us, myself included, music serves as the backdrop or sound track of our personal lives. These selected songs are a few of many which simply tell the story.

Today’s show features The O’Jays, Earth Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and many others.

DJ Rhythm Dee hosts a recurring segment known as the Black Magic Sounds. The show will feature the smooth grooves of Jazz, Neo-Soul, Acid Jazz, as well as Funk, R&B, Soulful House, Disco, Slow Jams and anything that moves you. It’s all about feeling the music and hearing some tracks that were forgotten or entirely new to you.

Remember those 45's you bought at the Mom & Pop record stores, or perhaps it was at the large retail chain outlet. In any event you watched the charts and couldn't wait to purchase those hit singles. In some cases it was the vendor behind the counter that dropped the needle on a track you've never heard before and you had to have it. This is an ode to shopping for those singles the way that we used to.

This episodes features such artists as Heatwave, GQ, Minnie Ripperton, One Way, Deniece Williams and many more!

House Music All Night Long: Classic House MiX

This mix covers some the great grooves which filled the warehouse spaces and specialty clubs of the mid 80’s. Club Music born from the streets of Chicago then catching on quickly in New York, Detroit, Newark and eventually spread across the globe by djs such as Frankie Knuckles, Mr. Fingers and others.
For me I got my weekly dose at clubs like the Twilight Zone, The Copa, and R.P.M.

Featuring: Frankie Knuckles, Farley ‘Jack Master’ Funk, Royal House, Marshall Jefferson, Ten City, and many others

Get ready to Jack your Body!
